A Renewed Faith: Romans 12:2

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

To renew something means that it was once there; therefore, to have a Renewed Faith means that our faith has become stagnate and we need a reawakening so that we as believers will stay the course in our faith walk.

If the question was raised, how does one prevent a stagnate faith? This is accomplished by remaining connected to the vine, which is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Staying connected to the vine, we as believers have the resources to refrain from becoming trapped in this world's immoral behaviors that are controlled by Satan.

A believer having a renewed mind is a commitment to this faith walk which enables the believer to do the perfect will of God. It is noteworthy to say, having a renewed spirit begins with a transformed mind. This is because the heart and mind is the epicenter of all actions or reactions.

Having a renewed faith the believer can and will give the Lord the best of his/her service by being a living sacrifice unto God. Having renewed faith believers can say like David in Psalm 51:10 when he asks the Lord to create in him a clean heart and then renew in him a right Spirit (partial paraphrased).

A renewed faith is a renewed commitment to Christ.
